While Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth, the four weeks leading up to it are known as a time of preparation called Advent. The season of Advent is a time of preparing our hearts to worship Christ throughout the year. it is easy to miss the blessing of the season when we get caught up in the world distractions. But if we concern ourselves more with preparing our hearts than preparing our homes, we’ll have the greatest gift of all. We’ll have Jesus.
