The heart of the matter is always the matter of the heart. But what does it mean when Scripture talks about our heart being the wellspring of life? And how are we supposed to guard our hearts?

In this episode, we’ll visit Jerusalem to walk along the archeological remains of the Cardo, an ancient Roman street that served as the lifeline of the city. Then we’ll use this road to draw parallels to our spiritual heart and discuss the need to guard our heart. Our spiritual hearts are what the enemy seeks to capture and destroy, but we can stop him when we choose to be as intentional about guarding our heart as the Romans were about guarding their cities.

Then we’ll talk about how we can apply this wisdom to living out the command to guard our hearts.
