A vital part of the armor of God is the footwear. Ephesians 6:15 tells us these shoes for our feet are the readiness that has been given by the gospel of peace. But ready for what? Why is the viewing the gospel of peace as a critical pair of footwear essential to the believer’s life? In this episode we talk about these shoes Paul refers to are and why they matter to the spiritual battle we are in. If we want to stand firm, remaining unshakeable in the middle of this warfare, we need to take hold of this gospel of peace, binding it to us as the original Greek translation implies. And we must be on guard against false versions (imitation footwear) that will leave us unprepared and unprotected.
